BS3621 British Standard 5-lever deadlocks
Mortice locks (often called deadlocks or sashlocks) are recessed directly into the edge of a wooden door. They are commonly used as security locks on traditional timber front and back doors. A suitable British Standard mortice lock can provide increased resistance to forced entry.
